I'm sure you get letters often praising your product. I installed my PCS 1502 and CX504-70's yesterday. I only rode about thirty minutes to test drive the system and I have to say they are a great combination, well worth the investment. I'm not writing to commend you on your product, although it is great. I'm writing to complement you on your people there as well as the packaging and instructions supplied.
My kit arrived last Wednesday, I intended to install it Sunday. I called with a question about the speaker installation requiring the modification or removal of the fairing supports. Now I have read your instructions on line for several months anticipating the purchase so I was familiar with them, I guess I had just never noticed that part. I spoke to Mike and had my service manual open. He helped explain what I was to do, the options and reasons. I was impressed. I was even more impressed when I explained my call on Wednesday to install on Sunday; he gave me his cell phone number. I was shocked, impressed and very happy.
On Sunday, a friend who is a retired CEO and former electrical engineer came over. He and I were very impressed with the build quality of your products, the thorough, easily read and subtly funny instructions and supplied wiring and other items. He, being a business owner and once large corporation leader, was impressed with Mike giving his cell number. He's leaving on a two month ride with his wife while the touring season is out, but he'll be ordering his amp and speakers when he gets back.
I work in a customer service related field. I came from a retail background. It's a combination of the right product, quality and service before and after the sale that gets items sold, keeps them sold and has customers return and refer. Rest assure, I'll be doing both. I'm looking forward to enjoying your product.

Just wanted to let you know that the new amp kicks ass! The system sounds great and is trouble free. You were right about this one being a little more work to install but it is really worth the extra time and effort. I have to tell you I'm VERY satisfied with your product. I also have to tell you I am impressed with your customer service and tech support. Most places just don't put much effort into problem solving once they have your money. Again let me thank you for your time and help in resolving my problems.
One happy customer,
Larry

I installed this kit in my 2003 Road Glide. Stock speaker grilles required a minor modification. Total installation time was an hour. I love the simplicity of the modular connections. The power and sound are F-ing AWESOME!

Well I just installed my new DCS1202 amplifier and the SX speakers and I want to let you know that I really love the unbelievable performance from this system. The sound is crystal clear and the volume without any distortion is amazing, even at 80 mph! The installation was a breeze, only took about an hour, and I did take my time to do a neat install. The guys on the phone were great to talk with and very helpful, and I want to thank you all for that too. So when I meet up with the rest of the guys, I'll have that little smirk on my face when I can blast them away.
Thanks again,
Stuart

PSC3002 PSC Series 150W/300W (2x75/4x75) Expandable |
05/20/2008 |
First off, oh my word!!!!! The system I purchased the 300 watt - 75 watts/channel amp and two front speakers kick the crap outta anything I have ever heard from a stereo system. My dealer's service foreman, who doesn't even like radios summed it up with the statement "it is sick!". Turned up halfway I can hear it doing 80 on I10 out near Whitewater and windmill point (the wind is always blowing), simply amazing - the system is so sick that I have the bass and treble turned down all the way and it still blows my face off - awesome!
Also, thanks for staying on my order - I appreciate customer service and I know I only bought a simple system from you and I am not your biggest customer, but you made me feel like I was and that will always be remembered. I will be an ambassador of your products and promote them to every rider I know - and I do put on some miles and meet and greet a nice amount of fellow riders.
Hawg Wired rocks!

DCS/SX Direct Connect |

I have an '03 Road King with a Dragonfly fairing and Tour-Pak with speaker pods. My source is a Clarion deck with Sirius. My speakers are Polk audio (6x9" front, 6" round in the rear pods). I could barely hear it until I got Hawg Wired. Now my system kicks ass. It is worth every penny. Nice loud clean sound, no distortion even at high levels. I am a musician and fussy about my music so it is awesome hearing great sounding music on my bike.
Rock on,
Brian

I have had this product for about 3 weeks. It is GREAT. I have an 08 Streetglide and the volume at highway speed (75-80) is awesome. About 1/2 way on the volume gauge with great sound and no distortion. The guys at HW were great, steered me in the right direction. You won't regret this purchase.

PSC/DX/DX Four In The Face |
04/08/2008 |
I installed this system on my 2008 FLHTCUSE3 (Ultra CVO) and I can't even begin to describe how great the sound is. I routed the head unit power to the rear speakers in the tour seat and used the amp and crossovers in the front four(4) --- this set-up allows for a bit of sound from behind and a blast from the front. If I just had a place for the subwoofer? :)
The technical support and help from the folks at Hawg Wired was top notch! All questions answered, and plenty of great advice.
Buy this system, you will not be disappointed.

DCS/SX Direct Connect |

Well I got it installed and it sounds good. A lot louder and cleaner. I put in the DCS1202 system.
I ordered the Dummy module bracket to install it like in the picture. But that did not work out. The fairing was hitting the amp and would not go back on. I pushed the amp all the way toward the gauges but it still would not go back on. I had to ditch the bracket and turn the amp sideways on top of the radio. It still fit perfect like this and that made it one inch lower and the fairing like that and went back on.
This was on a 08 Ultra. If there was no CB module than I could have turned it like in the picture. If I would have had another module it would have been a no go. Did the install easily in 2 hours no wires to splice just PNP.
The only negative thing I could say about it is:
The Amp has power when you turn the switch to acc or ignition, even when the radio is turned off. So you can hear some noise coming out of the speakers. But when you turn on the radio the smile gets bigger on your face. So no big deal I never turn my switch unless I am starting it anyway and even if you did not turn on the radio once the engine starts you cannot hear it.

Installed the Double Shot last night with much success. The directions are very descriptive, quality of the product is outstanding and installation was straightforward. The amp is fantastic with having five different settings you can really adjust the sound and the system is as loud as h*@#! The men at Hawg Wired have really done their homework and all the connections were as advertised. Did I mention the system is as loud as h*@#! Great job Hawg Wired.
